Eligibility
Am I Eligible to attend the Autumn 2024 graduation ceremonies?
You are Eligible if:
- You completed your studies, obtained a final university award, and received your results between 1 February 2024 and 14 August 2024.
- You were eligible for the Spring 2024 graduation, but you deferred your place to the following graduation ceremony.
All graduands eligible to attend the Autumn 2024 graduation ceremonies will be sent an email invitation. Your invitation will be sent depending on when you received your final results (see the Eligibility Table here)
If you meet the criteria above but have not received an email, please contact us at GraduationCeremonies@bpp.com with your student details.
You are not Eligible if:
- You are due to receive results after 14 August 2024 (you will be invited to attend the Spring 2025 ceremonies).
- You have not yet obtained a final university award.
- You have outstanding debt.
Please note:
- To be eligible for graduation you must have completed your entire course, including re-sits and not owe any fees to the university.
- You will be invited to a ceremony based on when you receive your final results, not when you started your course.
I did not complete my course, or I still have outstanding fees, but I have received an invite to book a place. Does this mean I am eligible?
Invitations and the opportunity to book is open to all students predicted to successfully complete their course and obtain an award in the eligibility window. If it transpires that you do not meet the requirements necessary to attend graduation, unfortunately the invite will need to be withdrawn. Any bookings you have made will be cancelled and refunded.
We understand that some payment plans offered by the university mean that the final payment may still be outstanding when you complete your course, therefore you will still be able to book a place at the ceremony, assuming that the final payment will be made before the event takes place. If you still have outstanding fees when the ceremony takes place, you will not be allowed to attend. Any bookings you have made will be cancelled and refunded.
Booking a Place and Tickets
How can I book my place as a graduand?
If you meet the eligibility criteria (check the eligibility page here to see if you do) you will be sent an email invitation. There will be a link in the email that will take you to the Graduand booking page on Eventbrite. Here you can reserve a seat at the ceremony.
What is graduating in absentia?
Graduating in absentia means you will receive your degree without attending the ceremony or any future ceremonies:
- Your name will be included in the graduation brochure as in absentia
- You will receive your degree certificate to the address you have provided following the completion of the graduation ceremonies
If you opt to graduate in absentia you confirm that you will not be attending or deferring your graduation ceremony. Please click here if you would like to graduate in absentia..
How can I book guest tickets?

I am trying to book my graduand place, but the ceremony is sold out and asking me to join a waitlist. How can I book a place?
If your ceremony is fully booked up, it is recommended that you sign up to the waitlist. We will let you know if a space opens up, or we may assign you to another ceremony.
How will I receive my tickets?
The tickets will be provided by Eventbrite.
Tickets are sent as a PDF attachment with order confirmation emails by default. Tickets are also visible in the Eventbrite app as soon as an order is completed.

What if I or one of my guests has an accessibility requirement?
You will have an opportunity to inform us of any special requirements you or your guests may require, for example sight or mobility issues, by completing the relevant section of the Eventbrite booking form when you book.
Please note, however, that once seats have been allocated, we may not be able to accommodate special arrangements. Both venues have a limit of available accessible seating, so please let us know when booking, or well in advance of the ceremony, if you have any requirements, so that we can plan accordingly.
If you arrive on the day with accessibility requirements that you did not notify us about in advance, we may not be able to provide adequate seating.
Can I bring a pushchair – where do I store it?
Central Hall Westminster can accommodate pushchairs. You will be advised on where to store them once you arrive at the venue.
Are children allowed to attend?
BPP Graduands are welcome to bring guests of any age to their graduation ceremony, however they must be accompanied by an adult guest.
Also, we request that younger guests do not cause any disruption or noise during the ceremony. If there is a risk of any disruption, then these guests should sit near exits so they can leave the ceremony room until they have settled.
Do children require a ticket?
The fee for each seated guest is the same, £30, we do not offer concession pricing. However, there is no charge if a young child is on a lap and does not require their own seat.
We generally recommend children aged 4 years and up have their own seat. Guest seating is unallocated, but we would recommend guests with young children try to find a seat near to the aisle. There are no special facilities for young children at the venues and it is expected that carers accompany their charges from the main hall at any time there is a potential disruption.
