National Student Money Week 2025: A Guide to Financial Well-being for Students

National Student Money Week (NSMW) 2025 is a nationwide initiative aimed at helping students gain control of their finances, build financial literacy, and manage their money more effectively. Running from March 3rd to March 7th, this week is all about providing practical advice and guidance to students who are navigating the complexities of budgeting, saving, and managing debt while balancing their academic commitments.

At a time when many students are living on a tight budget, NSMW offers the perfect opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of financial well-being and give students the tools they need to make informed decisions about their money.

How We Will Be Helping:

This year, we’re excited to contribute by offering a series of expert guides designed to help students tackle common financial challenges. Our guides will cover essential topics such as:

  • Budgeting and Planning Mini Guide: A practical guide for university students to manage finances, track expenses, set savings goals, and plan for financial stability during your studies.
  • Money and Mental Wellbeing Mini Guide: Tips for managing financial stress, avoiding burnout, and building a healthy relationship with money while at university.
  • On a Budget: Clothing and Fashion: Smart shopping tips for staying stylish on a student budget without overspending.
  • On a Budget: Eating Well: Affordable, healthy meal planning and cooking tips for university students to eat well without breaking the bank.

With these helpful resources, we aim to empower students to take control of their financial futures and make smarter, more confident decisions. National Student Money Week is an important opportunity to spread the message that financial well-being is key to academic success and overall well-being.
