Information for LPC and LLM LPC students taking exams in-person
While the vast majority of BPP University assessments are online, some BPP Law students have the option to take their exams on a ‘face-to-face’ basis. Face-to-face assessments are traditional paper and pen exams which are held at a venue and are monitored by invigilators.

The diagram below helps explain the options given to BPP LPC and LLM LPC students at the beginning of their course. Those opting to study in the face to face (F2F) environment are given the option of digital or face to face exams.

Face to Face Assessment (Option 2) for LPC/LLM LPC Students:
Face-to-face assessments for all students (including Learning Support students) choosing this option are primarily run in BPP centres however some examinations, depending on the number of students, may need to be run from an external venue.
The location for each face-to-face exam will be confirmed on the HUB/VLE at least two weeks before the assessment.
If you are an LPC or LPC LLM student who chooses this option for your exams you must:
- Make sure you map out the route to the venue and give yourself enough time to account for any transport delays
- Aim to arrive approximately one hour before the scheduled start time for all assessments
- Bring your BPP ID card to confirm your identity
Note that if you are more than 30 minutes late for your assessment, you will not be permitted entry. This 30 minutes’ allowance should not be confused with the 60 minutes' allowance provided to students taking online exams: These students can login and start their exam up to 60 minutes after the scheduled start time
Please note, this survey is not a final decision, you are able to amend your final choice on the survey until the specified deadline for the next assessment window. You will have an opportunity to amend your choice before each assessment window, of which there are 3 in the year. All deadlines can be found within the assessment survey.
